Elocution on Swachhata (Cleanliness)

Good morning respected teachers and my dear friends,

Today, I am going to talk about Swachhata, which means Cleanliness. Cleanliness is very important in our lives. When we keep our surroundings clean, we stay healthy and happy.

Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to make India clean. This campaign is about keeping our streets, schools, and homes free from dirt and garbage. But it is not just the job of the government; it is our job too.

When we keep our surroundings clean, we can avoid many diseases like malaria and dengue. A clean place also makes us feel better and think clearly. Cleanliness shows that we care about ourselves and others.

To practice Swachhata, we can start by not littering, using dustbins, and keeping our homes and classrooms tidy. We should wash our hands regularly and keep ourselves clean too.

Remember, Swachhata is everyone’s responsibility. If each of us takes small steps, we can make a big difference. So, let’s promise to keep our environment clean and make our country proud.

Thank you.
